Co-location Service

Customers can bring in their own rack mountable servers and house them in shared
racks, or hire complete racks, and even rent ‘secure cages’ at the hosting facility as per their application/s requirements.

Sify Hosting offers a unique range of web hosting solutions, which bundle advanced hosting appliances (servers) and hosting services, which allow the customers to own their servers, instead of choosing a shared server. This solution can be typically used by SMEs, website hosting providers and e-mail service providers.


Dedicated Server

We provide dedicated servers that suit your budget. A wide range of servers of various specifications - space/memory/processors - is available on rent payable in equated monthly installments.

Shared Server

For customers whose site/application are primarily static in nature and do not need large space on a server, we provide shared space. These servers are hosted with us at our Level 3 IDC and offer the benefit of superior infrastructure and network.

Network and Bandwidth Infrastructure

Sify created India's first Tier-1 IP network infrastructure. This infrastructure is powered by Gigabit Switch Routers (GSRs) that are capable of routing 30 million packets per second at each node and deliver optimal performance in terms of speed, reliability and capacity.

Our private data network spans 67 cities, through a combination of a high-speed DS-3 network, STM1 links, E1 links and multiple satellite gateways. Sify currently offers 450 MBPS of international bandwidth and 1 GB of domestic bandwidth.

The network is truly resilient with multiple links on the backbone, and is well meshed to ensure that more than one alternate path is available during any outage. SIFY has secondary Network Operations Centers (NOCs) at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Bangalore to completely eliminate single point of failures on the network and make services available all the time.

Infrastructure Uptime

Although we commit an uptime of 99.6 %, we have in the last year of operation delivered an actual uptime of 99.92%. The applications hosted with us over the last year encompass all types of operating systems - web servers, database servers and application servers.
